Hunting Club Of Australia

The Hunting Club of Australia was established in 2018 with the goal of being Australia’s premier club focused on a shared interest in ethical hunting, a love of the great outdoors and creating a welcoming social environment for all; whether life long hunters, those just starting out, their friends or partners. The Club is based in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney but welcomes members from all across the country and indeed the World to join, enjoy the perks of membership, and for those members in NSW, to support their license applications with the genuine purpose of recreational hunting. We formed the club for 3 main reasons: Firstly, so that people residing in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs would have an enjoyable, convenient means to meet their license requirements, along with a club with social activities that are close by and with people from their local area. Secondly, we realised there are a lot of people interested in learning more about hunting, in particular as a source of wild caught meat, but have limited access to hunting properties or friends to learn from. As a result, we aim to provide help, resources & access for people wanting to start their journey into ethical hunting. Finally, to create a social club in which members and their partners can enjoy all kinds of activities together, including those having nothing to do with hunting. While we all enjoy hunting, you’re just as likely to see HCOA members blending whisky, learning blacksmithing, on a ski trip together, clay shooting or just catching up over a drink at one of our monthly social events.
