North Sydney Rifle Club

Welcome to the NORTH SYDNEY RIFLE CLUB. We are located in the north of the Sydney suburban area, utilizing the Hornsby Rifle Range complex. We conduct weekly competitions over ranges from 300 to 800 metres in the following disciplines: -Fullbore target rifle – .308W or .223R Cal fired from the prone position using peep sights. -F Standard – .308W or .223R Cal fired from the prone position using telescopic sights and utilizing a front rest and rear rest for the rifle. -F Open – any calibre up to 8mm fired from the prone position using telescopic sights and utilizing a front rest and rear rest for the rifle. Total cost of membership is typically $445.00 annually. Juniors are about 30% less in most cases.​ Membership costing is made up of: -NRAA/NSWRA membership $158.00 Full, $148.00 pensioner (National and State registration which also includes national liability insurance coverage) -NSRTSCMA membership $145.00 (Hornsby Range management association – includes maintenance of entire range complex for all disciplines plus rent to property owner) -NSDRA membership $50.00 (North Shore District Rifle Assoc – runs and funds all local fullbore shooting events) -NSRC membership $92.00 (North Sydney Rifle Club)
