Oz Fish and Game

Located in Newcastle NSW, our primary goal is to change the general public’s perception of hunting and shooting sports for the better!

How do we achieve this?

We aim to achieve this outcome through our consistent involvement in the following activities:

• Advocating for the rights of our club members (check out our Facebook page and News/Articles section for the various submissions we’ve made on your behalf),
• Providing our members (and the general public) with free access to our ever-expanding library of educational content,
• Through our involvement in local environmental clean-up days and habitat restoration activities,
• By supporting other clubs and local Australian businesses – both on our website, and through our general industry-related activities, and;
• Through the support provided to our course participants and other newcomers to our industry.

As we are registered as an approved hunting organisation (AHO) with the NSW DPI, our members can use their club membership to obtain a NSW R-licence.

Club benefits

• Face-to-face and online training courses (NSW Firearms training and NSW R-licence courses).
• Full access to the Oz Fish and Game website (new modules – coming soon).
• Rental of butchering / meat processing equipment (Local residents only).
• Free junior club memberships for the family of current club members (12 – 17 years old).
