As of January 2020, Shellharbour Bowmen inc. has had a name change to Shellharbour Field Archers.
SHELLHARBOUR FEILD ARCHERS. Is a family orientated club, catering for all ages. It is a club where all the family can spend a Sunday together in a natural environment. We are committed to the growth of Field Archery as a sport in Australia and the promotion of good sportsmanship. Field Archery is a challenging and rewarding sport where age holds no barriers, and graded sections ensure fair competition. So we invite you to attend any of our club shoots and while you’re there come and enjoy a sausage sizzle and a chat with archers of Shellharbour and discover for yourself the challenges of Field Archery.
Shellharbour Field Archers club continues to be one of Australia’s most prominent and successful field archery clubs. Our members shoot a variety of archery equipment, from traditional longbows to the most high-tech compound bows and we welcome members of all ages and from all walks of life. Archery is a sport that can be practiced by the whole family and we encourage everyone to come and give it a try!
Shellharbour Field Archers. is a affiliated club of the Australian Bowhunters Association Inc. (ABA Inc.) Which is the National body for Bowhunting and Field Archery within Australia. They are also affiliated with the International Field Archery Association (IFAA) and the World Bowhunting Organisation (WBO).
